So, on to quilty things. . . due to family concerns during the month of May, my RSC blocks were delayed, but here they are in all their dark green glory - Scrappy Irish chains, Geese Migration, Scraptastic Star, and a string block. I had been making at least two string blocks each month, but honestly I think I have enough green blocks!

Geese Migration
I also missed posting the May Color Challenge, which was a "Budgerigar", more commonly known as a parakeet.
With only a couple weeks left in June, I will play catch-up with the June RSC color of pink and the Mountain Bluebird for the June Color Challenge.
What are you up to this month?
Hello, Texas Quilt Gal! So glad to see you back! Your May RSC blocks look great, and I love how you made your color challenge block, too. So pretty! Hope your family are all doing okay - I know you've been through such a tough time. Thinking of you!
ReplyDeleteYou've done a great job of getting caught up. I like your blocks, especially the Monthly Color Challenge - you've captured the colors in the bird really well!

ReplyDeleteoh these colors are wonderful - the quilt looks great. And I really want to sketch that bird. Wow ...so i'll put this link on my blog so i know to come here.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to have you back, Linda. Of course your pink RSC blocks are in the making, I am sure. For now I will feast my eyes on the cool greens and the shiny star!!! Stay safe. Hugs again and again.
ReplyDeleteHello, there! Just added you to my feed.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new blog! Did you set this up all on your own, or did you need help? I have been thinking of getting my own domain, but hate the thought of dealing with a complicated setup.
