This block is for Jen's 2021 Monthly Color Challenge. This year the colors are from fruits and vegetables, and you can read all about it on Jen's blog, PBJ Patterns by Jen right here. The color challenge this month drew inspiration from pineapple, and that is a mouth-watering challenge if there ever was one.
My "yellow" is really more of a yellow-ish cream that doesn't show as warm in the photos.
Here are all the blocks I have so far in this challenge - some are the 6-inch size, and I do need some more of those. (I have to fix the embarrassing cat pulls in my design board!)
Each month Jen provides a pattern for the challenge, and it is free for the month. Be sure to check out the pattern for next month - the color is pink grapefruit! You can find other participants' versions of her block at the linkup right here.
Oh, I love the theme of your blocks. They look fabulous together.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous wall of art! You must love walking into your quilt studio every day.
ReplyDeleteThat's a fun block! And I love the shot of all your blocks together, too. I'll enjoy seeing how you decide to put them together!
ReplyDeleteThey all look so beautiful together like this. These colours together are awesome.
ReplyDeleteHow fun seeing all those lovely blocks on the design wall together!
ReplyDeleteYou've got a great set of blocks from the challenge. Are you going to put both size blocks in one quilt, or make two?
ReplyDeleteThis is shaping up nicely!
ReplyDeleteLooking good Linda! Shame on kitty! No treats for him/her! LOL
