Riley Blake Design Block Challenge - "Pop Star"
Last week these were my goals:
❌1. Work on Wedding Quilt - Nothing accomplished
✅2. Work in gardens - Done - we spread 18 bags of mulch in the front beds
✅3. RBD challenge block - Done - see block above
❌4. Pieces in the Garden blocks - Nothing accomplished
✅5. Play with my new Necchi sewing machine! - Done, and enjoying it!
I did a few more things last week that you can read about in this post right here!
With upcoming doctor appointments and a 100 miles round trip to pick up my Janome, I'm keeping it simple for the coming week:
1. Wedding Quilt
2. RBD challenge block
Now it's time to add your link and go visit other blogs for inspiration! But visit at your own risk. I found a squirrel last week on Deb's blog, A Scrappy Quilter, in the form of a book I just had to order!

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Star block...have a great day!
Love that block - ..the designs you do are great. You keep so busy, wow
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandy. I'm really not that busy, seems like I sit around a lot doing nothing - lol!
Deleteno way - you can't have any time to sit around..lol... you sure seem busy to me. But then i do sit around if I'm not out walking or hiking.
DeleteBut you walk and hike and I sit around watching TV in the afternoons/evenings! I'm lazy. ;)
DeleteHi Linda! Oh my goodness, that apron for your grandson is just perfect! I have been saying for a while that I need to make our littles an apron since they are always helping in the kitchen. I'll have to get to work on that! Your RBD block is so cute. I love your fabric placement - it gives the whole block a plaid-ish vibe. Very nice! Thank you so much for the linky party today. I'm off to read all the happenings. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteThat's a gorgeous block! You have a busy week ahead!
ReplyDeleteGreat block! Ha! Did you go buy Relax and Quilt? I had to tell her that was one of the very first quilt books I bought--all kinds of determination to make that one on the cover....but I still haven't! It's still on my list though.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty star block! You have a lot going on! A cute apron for your grandson, RBD, gardening, & enjoying a new machine! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI have to take one of my machines in for servicing. I'm not looking forward to what the cost of that will be. Lots of dr. appts here too between my youngest daughter, starting early tomorrow morning with the endoscopy, and my mom.
ReplyDeleteYour youngest daughter is having an endoscopy? Hope all is well with her and with your Mom. I'm thinking of you.
DeleteAfter age 75 our Social Life is going to the stupid doctor! I cleared my calendar of 2 of them and now I can relax and have some fun time at home! Pretending that the world does not exist out there until 2025! LOL. I really like your block! Have a blessed Easter. Always thinking of you. Hugs
