To Do Tuesday 6-14-22

Welcome to another edition of To Do Tuesday! If you are a new visitor and have no idea what To Do Tuesday is all about, click on the couple above to find out more. Then come back and link up your post to share your goals for the week. I love Soma's idea to call it a "play-list" instead of a to-do list!

Progress on The Wedding Quilt - pardon all the wrinkles!

Last week my goals were:
✔1. Get wedding quilt flimsy finished and decided on backing - Great progress and will finish sewing rows together today
❌2. Start on Pieces of the Garden for this month, then do the blocks for last month - I have decided to put this project aside for awhile
✅3. Doctor appointments - Done
✅4. Think about a layout for RBD blocks. Although I like the layout suggested by Riley Blake Design, I just don't want to make any more blocks for it. I might do big sashing or solid blocks of fabric in between the blocks - Done, and have decided to go ahead and use the RBD layout with lighter fabrics.

Squirrel in progress . . .

Here is my "play-list" for this coming week:
1. Finish sewing flimsy and sandwich The Wedding Quilt
2. Finish my "Squirrel" (I'm happily blaming Diann)
3. Time for whatever suits my fancy

Now it is your turn to share your goals and fun stuff for the week! For those of you who want to link up later than today, we are open for business until Monday night at 11:59PM! And be sure to visit others' posts to be inspired and leave some love. 💖

  2. Must be great to be making good progress on the wedding quilt. I have enjoyed seeing what quilters have done with the RBC tops, so creative. I will get back to mine eventually.

  3. Love the peek at your squirrel! I'm so (not!) sorry for leading you astray, lol! Sometimes we just have to play, right? Meanwhile, that wedding quilt looks like it's coming along, too. Pretty fabrics and colors!

  4. I am going to try to get to work on my Tuesday list at some point today - I just have a feeling not a lot will get done but surely I can get the fabric pressed and maybe cut for the Traveler blocks

  5. Great progress on your wedding quilt! Your squirrel looks interesting! I love when a squirrel runs through my studio! LOL For me, sometimes making decisions are the most difficult part of sewing and quilting! Have a great week, Linda!

  9. Hi Linda! Isn't your surgery coming up soon? Or maybe it's in July. I love the idea of not making any more RBD blocks. I can't wait to see what you decide. I saw your squirrel project, thanks to Diann. HA - that's what happens when one looks around for inspiration. Right?! I dare not even look - I'm still dealing with my own squirrel for a Friday housewarming gift. Thank you so much for the linky party today! I'll be browsing around anyway, with only have an eye beyond leaving a comment. HAHA! {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
