For those of you unfamiliar with To Do Tuesday, it is a day to share your goals or activities for the past week and your challenges or projects for the coming week. There is a linkup below my post. For further information, just click on the logo above! I should start calling this "Ta Da Tuesday" because several of you have projects or creations that are just magnificent, and I am inspired (or squirrel-spired) every single time I visit your blogs. I always try to thank you for sharing and I really do mean it!
My wall hanging for Get On Board With Sewing
These were my goals for last week:
✅1. Finish Get On Board With Sewing project - Done and posted here!
❌2. Work on RSS quilt - Nada
❌3. Finish crochet hat - Nope - still haven't found a pattern I really like
❌4. Work on The Wedding Quilt - Nooo
I was busy last week, not only sewing for Get On Board With Sewing but also had to get a second mammogram (it was negative), and we put up a new TV inside our outdoor pergola and installed a ping pong table and dart board in our garage - we are set for football season and our next family visit! I also had some problems with my sewing machine - jamming issues related to the bobbin. Fortunately it worked long enough for me to finish my project. I really don't want to have to take it in for repair, so I will do some investigation today.
My playlist for the coming week:
1. RSS quilt
2. Wedding quilt
3. Crochet hat
4. Visit a dermatology surgery center (more on that in another post)

I just love your Get on Board wall hanging. The black and white in the middle and then the colours surrounding. Very striking.
ReplyDeleteProblems with the sewing machine is not fun, especially considering that your machine is new, I remeber you bought it months ago. I love your wall hanging, Linda. Have a nice week.
ReplyDeleteYou know I love the sunflower wall-hanging! I'm going to have to go look at the pattern. Although the second mammogram is no fun (I've had to do that, too...), getting ready for football and future family visits sounds like lots of fun! Have a great week, Linda!
ReplyDeleteI always hate to have to have the redo on the mammogram and glad it was ok for you, good luck with the dermatologist - is it just me or does it seem like we see the doctor more as we get older! ugh! nice to have a tv in the outside area to enjoy in the nice weather.
ReplyDeleteVery glad your second mammogram was negative! I am on a watch for a cyst (they believe) and it is nerve wracking. Sounds like a good time setting up for football, friends and family!
ReplyDeleteI love your project for the blog hop! Heading over to check it out! Have you cleaned your bobbin area lately? Just a thought. (Sometimes more time goes by than we think!). Hopefully it's an easy fix somehow!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteYour Get on Board for Sewing quilt is awesome! Love all
those pretty colors you used. And the dark binding just
sets the whole quilt beautifully. Have a great day!
Well thank you so much! Hope you come back and leave your name. :)
DeleteTa-Da Tuesday! Love it! Your On Board quilt is lovely! Here's hoping your appoints continue to give good news.
ReplyDeleteI went through a period where my needle threader wouldn't work on my machine. I didn't want to take it in for just that, so put up with it. The last time I cleaned my machine and replaced my needle, something happened and now it works again. I hope the same happens for you with your bobbin issue! Ta Da Tuesday - love it!
ReplyDeleteThat is super cute!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the wall hanging. Your house sounds like a fun place to be!
ReplyDeleteAwww thanks Marsha, the kitties sure thinks it's a fun house - lol!
