Today is my second MOHS surgery for a smaller skin cancer on my cheek. The surgeon believes he'll probably do little or no stitching on this one. Thank all of you for your positive thoughts and prayers! I am healing well from last week, stitches will be removed today, and the bruising is fading. The final one is next Tuesday, and that one will be followed up with a visit to the plastic surgeon.

❌4. Play with machine embroidery - Still haven't tried it out!
Here is what I have planned this week:
1. RBD block for the week (issued later today)
2. APQ scrappy quilt blocks
3. Play with machine embroidery
4. Winging It QAL starts on April 20

Ugh on having surgery but yea for the good results so far. Looks like you did pretty well with your goals. Good luck on this week's plans.
ReplyDeletewell be thinking of you - hope all goes smoothly and sounds like hats with wide brims will be needed for the summer - my sister in law who does farming has your troubles also and is completely covered up while she works with wide brim hats on -
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize you had to go back to the dermatologist already this week, Linda. Glad the first area is healing well and you're almost 2/3 of the way through. Thinking of you! Your RBD block is pretty, and the photo of the APQ scrappy quilt has me intrigued. I'm curious to know more about that project. Have a good day!
ReplyDeleteMoab block is so cute in your chosen colors. I must do some checking on those other QAL you participate in. I'm a bad "follower". I always have great expectations and hopes and then fall short! That is why there are so many UFOs in my life!!!! Hope your surgery goes well today! Take care!
ReplyDeleteI hope today goes well, and you continue to heal quickly. You've done well with your projects! That little RBD block is cheerful!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are doing well. I am sure this was not fun. Take care and hopefully things will improve. Hugs
ReplyDeleteYour Moab block is so beautiful...you have such an eye for choosing just the right fabrics, Linda! Good luck now!

ReplyDeleteHooray on the RBD block. Glad you are healing well, and best wishes for your upcoming surgery and continued prayers for healing.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your Rose Colored Glasses. Quilting that will take your mind off healing. I hope your surgery went well. I wish they had known as much about sun damage when we were young as they do now.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy these “To do” posts, although every time I read one, it reminds me of all that I haven’t gotten done.
ReplyDeleteLinda you did have a great week and got so much done. I'm enjoying seeing your progress on your projects.
